Our Story
Interior designer Kate Walker founded KWD (Kate Walker Design) in 2013. Having worked in the tile industry for 15 years, Kate found there wasn’t a streamlined solution for busy people looking for design direction. KWD was launched to provide an end-to-end design service, from concept to completion.
As an evolution of this bespoke design service, Kate established KWD&Co. in 2019 as a platform to make interior design accessible to anyone, on any budget. As a sister business to KWD, KWD&Co. offers the same high-quality designs and products, just in a more affordable way.
The insatiable demand for KWD&Co.’s expertise and style has seen the KWD team grow. Currently managing projects across Australia and overseas, KWD’s expertise is broad - from interior design, space planning and project management to custom-design joinery and furniture, floorings and soft furnishings. The immense talent of the KWD team ensures KWD&Co. customers are served with a multidisciplinary approach to each and every project, product order and consultation.
